Dr. Cansu Güner
Postdoktorandin
Cansu Güner ist Postdoktorandin in der Forschungsgruppe für Wissenschafts- und Technologiepolitik. Zuvor erwarb sie 2013 ihren Master-Abschluss in Internationalen Beziehungen an der Koç University und schloss im Dezember 2023 ihre Promotion an der Technischen Universität München, Fakultät für Wissenschafts-, Technik- und Gesellschaftsforschung, ab.
Ihre akademischen Interessen liegen an der Schnittstelle von Science and Technology Studies (STS), feministischer Technowissenschaft, Entrepreneurship Studies und Valuation Studies. In ihrer Doktorarbeit untersucht sie die wechselseitige Beeinflussung von Geschlecht und Unternehmertum, mit besonderem Fokus auf neue Lebenspraktiken in unternehmerischen Techno-Kulturen. Derzeit arbeitet sie an einem Postdoc-Projekt, das sich auf die Entwicklung, Implementierung und Evaluierung von Gender-Awareness-Schulungen für Mitglieder von Berufungs- und Tenure-Kommissionen konzentriert.
Cansu ist mit dem Center for Science, Technology, Medicine, and Society (CSTMS) an der UC Berkeley, dem STS Hub der San Francisco State University und der Joachim Herz Stiftung verbunden.
