Lena Sindel is a student assistant at the Chair for Philosophy and History of Science and Technology and in the Ethical Data Initiative at the TUM Think Tank. She primarily supports the teaching team for the “Data Ethics in Practice” project week.
She is currently studying Responsibility in Science, Engineering and Technology (RESET) with a focus on Data and AI Ethics and Governance. Before, she worked at UNESCO and completed a B.Sc. in Informatics with a focus on AI at TUM and a Minor in Psychology at LMU. She specialized in Human-Computer-Interaction and AI ethics and wrote her thesis about the EU AI Act using mixed methods.s
