Réka Patrícia Gál ist Postdoktorandin am Department of Science, Technology and Society der Technischen Universität München. Um die Anwendung von wissenschaftlichen und technologischen Methoden als Lösungen sozio-politischer Probleme zu analysieren, verbindet sie in ihrer Forschung feministische Ansätze der Medienwissenschaft, dekoloniale Perspektiven in STS und Umweltgeschichte. Zurzeit beschäftigt sie sich mit Fragen der Umwelt- und Arbeitsgerechtigkeit in der Raumfahrt.
Réka hat gemeinsam mit Petra Löffler den Band Earth and Beyond in Tumultuous Times: A Critical Atlas of the Anthropocene (meson press) herausgegeben.
Zusammen mit ihren Kolleg*innen am Institut konzipiert sie ein ethnographisches Forschungsprojekt über grüne/nachhaltige Chemie als Teil des Forschungsprogramms „Knowledge after Progress“.
