After a brief experience as a research fellow at the STS department, I transitioned to the role of project manager for the Philosophy of Open Science at the Chair of Philosophy and History of Science and Technology. I hold a Ph.D. degree from Istanbul Technical University (2021), with a doctoral thesis entitled Aptitudes and Attitudes: Human-centered pedagogies in Foundation Design Studios. My previous research on open design explored how computational approaches to design either hinder or support the development of accountability and knowledge-sharing attitudes, key for nurturing socially responsible designers. I also have extensive experience-12 years, as a studio instructor, teaching design principles and lecturing on design theory and research methods.
