The colleagues at the MZWTG are mourning the loss of Prof. Dr. em. Ulrich Wengenroth, who died on January 7th, 2025 at the age of 75. The community of history of technology in Germany has lost one of its most prominent representatives, whose work and impact were groundbreaking for the historical discipline and the institutions and professional societies associated with him. We mourn the loss of an energetic, popular and courageous colleague, who was an outstanding role model for his collaborators as well as the many students and researchers owing to his scientific brilliance and human integrity.

MONDAY COLLOQUIUM
The Munich Center for the History of Science and Technology (MZWTG) organizes a series of lectures in which leading historians of technology and science report on their work: the Monday Colloquium; The lectures in the Monday Colloquium take place every 14 days during the semester.
