Esma Gelis is a researcher at the Innovation, Society and Public policy group. She is part of the "Transforming Mobility and Society" (TraMS) Lab linked to the Munich Cluster for the Future of Mobility in Metropolitan Regions (MCube), where her work centers on mobility justice and sustainable urban mobility.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Management & Technology with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Science and Technology Studies from the Department of Science, Technology and Society at TUM. In her thesis, she focused on the mobilities of multiply marginalized women. During her studies, she has worked for various STS-related research projects.
