Lorentz Centre Workshop - 'Confluences in Aquatic Science and Technology Studies'
Philosophy and History of Science and Technology, News, Events |
Elis Jones has been co-organising a workshop which aims to bring
together scholars from across science studies to help establish a
permanent community of aquatic-focused researchers, and to experiment
with methods for co-producing an edited book during the workshop. The
event was awarded support by the Lorentz Centre in the Netherlands,
where it will be hosted from 6th-10th July 2026. It has received further
support from the European Association for the Study of Science and
Technology, and the International Society for the History, Philosophy
and Social Studies of Biology. It was organised alongside Francesco
Colona, Jackie Ashkin, Sebastian Ureta, and Jose Cañada. More
information is available on the Lorentz Centre website
